I am Bart, a father, film photographer, my wife's personal chef, surfer, and probably a kid forever, trying to do-it-all living on Maui, Hawaii.

I love to document life and adventure as it happens around me. I love capturing moments ranging from families and fashion to surf and travel adventures. I love to photograph candid moments of emotion and feeling between you and your loved ones. I love to create wedding films that tell the story of your wedding day. I love to photograph intimate elopements that capture all the feels and details of your special day.

It all started when I was in high school, the darkroom is where I would lose all sense of time. Shooting film gives me the sense of ultimate creativity, the way I see light and color, entering a state of flow and concentration, waiting, watching, anticipating for that perfect moment to happen…and then the shutter is released.

I use a camera to connect with people and capture that connection. My goal as a photographer is to use film to capture light, the beauty of our surroundings and precious moments to create photographs that you will love forever.
